We have streamlined the database backup process – you can back up a database with only a click of the mouse. The phpPgAdmin and phpMyAdmin tools are also just a click away.

With our Database Manager, you will be able to administer all your databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) from one single location.

In the MammothHost Web Control Panel we have included the ModSecurity Apache module. It’s a small module that does a magnificent job – it acts as a firewall for your web apps, safeguarding them against hacker attacks, cross–site scripting attacks and URL forgery attacks. We’ve already defined the rules for the firewall software, so you do not have to configure it before it starts to work.

And ModSecurity is enabled automatically for all your websites – as soon as they go online, they’ll be immediately protected. If you wish, you can manually deactivate ModSecurity for any of your web sites.

If you’ve got a Dropbox account, you are aware of how handy their platform is. Now you can connect your Web Control Panel with your Dropbox account and take advantage of your Dropbox remote data backup space. With a single click, you can back up your web site and your databases, which will be saved in your Dropbox account.

And even if you create a Dropbox backup, we’ll also continue to back up your content on our servers regularly.
